Sergeant John Fellingham

John Fellingham was born in Dublin, Ireland on September 25, 1878. On his attestation paper, John indicated that he was born March 22, 1882. John was a widower with one daughter at the time of his attesting. He was employed as a street car inspector with Militia experience in the 96th LSR before he joined the 52nd Bn at Port Arthur on March 25, 1915.

John survived the war and returned to Port Arthur to work with the street cars. His daughter Lillian moved to Port Arthur from England shortly after the war. Sadly, John died within three years of demobilization.

Buried: Riverside Cemetery, Thunder Bay
